Youth Helping Homeless Youth Amidst COVID-19

Love & Hope Exposé 2021

From May 10 to May 18 at noon 12pm (Pacific Time)

VSB SWIS Byng Project 3B is hosting the “Love & Hope Exposé” online painting auction to fundraise for Vancouver homeless youth. The project is in partnership with Covenant House Vancouver (CHV) and Lord Byng Secondary School with support from CLCE Non-profit Foundation.

As COVID-19 continues to impact the world, life on the streets with no safe place to go is becoming increasingly daunting to the health and survival of homeless youth in our city. Our goal is to raise public awareness as well as funds to support those in despair and in need.

Covenant House Vancouver opened on September 22, 1997, providing unconditional love and hope to Vancouver's homeless and at-risk street youth. They help young people from 16 to 24 who have fled physical, emotional and sexual abuse; those who have been forced from their homes; and those who have aged out of foster care. CHV link

You can make an impact by bidding on the 30 remarkable paintings by using the bidding links below each painting. 100% of the proceeds are going to Covenant House Vancouver to support their programs and services!

Winning bidders will be contacted by the fundraiser organizer to pick up paintings at Lord Byng Secondary School (3939 West 16th Ave., Vancouver.)

Payments for winning bids should be made either:

1) by cheques payable to “Lord Byng Secondary School”, or

2) by credit card over the phone with Covenant House Development Officer, Allison Briggs (604-757-6165).
